P3T1035GUKAZ is a digital temperature sensor. It uses an on-chip band gap temperature sensor and A-to-D conversion technique with an overtemperature detection. The device contains a number of data registers: Configuration stores the device settings such as device operation mode, and temperature register (Temp) stores the digital temp reading, which communicates by a controller via the 2-wire serial I3C/I2C-bus interface. It can be configured for different operation conditions. It can be set in normal mode to monitor periodically the ambient temperature, or in shutdown mode to minimize power consumption. The temperature register always stores a 12bit two's complement data (2Bytes), giving a temperature resolution of 0.0625°C. It also allows 8-bit (MSByte) reading with temperature resolution of 1°C. Applications include portable devices, IoT, SSD, industrial controllers, servers and PC/notebook.
