LSM303AHTR is an ultra-compact high-performance eCompass module: ultra-low-power 3D accelerometer and 3D magnetometer. The LSM303AH has user-selectable linear acceleration full scales of ±2g/±4g/±8g/±16g and is capable of measuring accelerations with output data rates from 1Hz to 6400Hz. The device has a magnetic field dynamic range of ±50 gauss with output data rates from 10Hz to 100Hz. The LSM303AH includes an I2C serial bus interface that supports standard, fast mode, fast mode plus, and high-speed (100KHz, 400KHz, 1MHz, and 3.4MHz) and an SPI serial standard interface. Typical applications include tilt-compensated compasses, map rotation, position and free-fall detection, motion-activated functions, click/double-click recognition, pedometers, intelligent power saving for handheld devices, display orientation, gaming and virtual reality input devices, impact recognition and logging, vibration monitoring and compensation.
