TS4962IQT is a 2.8W filter-free mono class D audio power amplifier. It achieves outstanding efficiency (88% typ) compared to standard AB-class audio amps. The gain of the device can be controlled via two external gain setting resistors. Pop and click reduction circuitry provides low on/off switch noise while allowing the device to start within 5ms. A standby function (active low) enables the current consumption to be reduced to 10nA typical. Typical applications include cellular phones, PDAs and notebook PCs.
- Operating from VCC = 2.4V to 5.5V
- Standby mode active low
- Output power: 2.8W into 4ohm and 1.7W into 8ohm with 10% THD+N maximum and 5V power supply
- Output power: 2.2W at 5V or 0.7W at 3V into 4ohm with 1% THD+N maximum
- Adjustable gain via external resistors
- Low current consumption of 2mA at 3V
- 85dB typical SNR, 280KHz PWM base frequency and 63dB typical PSRR at 217Hz with 6dB gain
- Low pop and click noise
- 8 pin DFN package
- Operating temperature range from -40 to 85°C
