SP2-25 is a SP series compact, economical and water resistant string pot that utilizes a flexible cable, a spring-loaded spool and a potentiometer to detect and measure linear position. It is identical to the SP1 except for an added 40inch electrical cable with a watertight rubber strain relief. The SP2 has been compactly designed for tight spaces and high cycle applications and generously allows for measuring cable misalignment. It is a perfect solution for many applications from light industrial to OEM.
- Full stroke range is 25inch, 0.25% of f.s accuracy, 500K cycle life
- ±0.05% full stroke repeatability
- 0.019inch dia. nylon-coated stainless steel measuring cable
- 7oz. (1,9 N) ±25% measuring cable tension
- Polycarbonate enclosure material, plastic-hybrid precision potentiometer sensor
- IP 50 rating
- 10Kohms, ±10% input resistance, 2.0 at 70°F derated to 0 at 250° power rating
- Encoder linear position to 50inches, low-cost, long life, free-release tolerant
- Operating temperature range from -18 to 71°C
