The TSOP2256 is a Miniaturized IR Receiver Module for infrared remote control systems. A PIN diode and a preamplifier are assembled on lead frame. The demodulated output signal can be directly connected to a microprocessor for decoding. This module is optimized to suppress almost all spurious pulses from energy saving lamps like CFLs.
