The 770005 from SCS is a charged plate analyzer. This 6" x 6" charged plate analyzer is used to evaluate the performance and functionality of ionizers. It provides assurance that ESD process needs are met in manufacturing and that there is compliance to requirements of ANSI/ESD S20.20 and EN 61340-5-1 testing per ANSI/ESD STM 3.1. It tests efficiency of an ionizer’s ion production by measuring the amount of time needed to neutralize a positive or negative charge on the isolated conductive plate. Measures are made directly at the plate for greater stability and accuracy than charged plate monitors that use field meter technology. The device is designed to provide quantitative and accurate measurements for a variety of air ionization tests in any location. It employs a revolutionary new charged-plate monitor design that utilizes an ultra-high impedance high voltage follower to monitor ion collecting plate voltage. It features 3.5digit red LED display, 0 to ±1100V range, 1V resolution.
