The 1182 series 3M™ Shielding Tape has a 1.4-mil copper foil backing with conductive acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive on both sides and a liner. The tape with double-coated conductive adhesive makes an excellent conductive gasket. It offers an excellent method of grounding and bonding conductive surfaces. It also exhibits low thermal resistance.
- UL510 Flammability rating
- Dead soft 1-ounce copper foil backing for good shielding effectiveness, soldering and converting
- Acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive has good resistance to heat, oxidation, solvents and oils
- Adhesive provides low contact resistance between substrate and backing to drain static charge
- Removable liner makes it easy to handle and die cut complex shapes
- Available as both standard and custom roll widths & lengths to meet a variety of application needs
