Grove - 6-Axis Accelerometer & Gyroscope(BMI088) is a 6 DoF(degrees of freedom) High-performance Inertial Measurement Unit(IMU). This sensor is based on BOSCH BMI088, which is a high-performance IMU with high vibration suppression. The 6-axis sensor combines a 16bit triaxial gyroscope and a 16bit triaxial accelerometer. BMI088 is designed to meet all requirements for high performance consumer applications in harsh vibration environments such as those encountered in drones and robotics applications. The IMU is designed to effectively suppress vibrations above a few hundred Hz that could occasionally occur due to resonances on the PCB or the structure of the total system. Typical applications included drones and flying toys, industrial robots, hover boards and domestic applications (e.g. vacuum cleaner, social robots, etc).
