The 3PN216C is a Variable Transformer with single phase input. It provides continuously adjustable output voltage from utility line voltage. Movable brush-taps ride on commentators. Rotation of brush by motor driven means delivers any voltage in the range between zero and line voltage. It features epoxy-coated POWERKOTE® coil for long life, greater ratings/overload capacities and better resistance to fungus, salt spray and other contaminants.
