The CVW5R220JLF is a Wire-wound Resistor construction by a high purity ceramic rod, with force fit end caps onto which is wound a wire element or a deposited metal oxide film. The element is fitted into a ceramic case with fireproof insulation cement. This CVW series through hole radial ceramic case resistor features no evidence of flashover and mechanical damage.
