The 116 RLL series radial leaded Aluminium Capacitor with cylindrical aluminium case and all-insulated (light blue). It is a polarized aluminium electrolytic capacitor with non-solid electrolyte. It features extremely low ESR and ESL allowing very high ripple current load. It is used in EDP, portable mobile equipment (small size, low mass) and stand-by applications in audio-video equipment. It is also used for coupling, decoupling, timing, smoothing, filtering and buffering in dc-to-dc converters.
